Since 2001, Our Project has received significant attention and recognition due to its various activities. The following activities aim to communicate the principles on which Our Project is based and to offer an enriching human experience to the participants.

Activities:

  • Formation sessions
  • Conferences focused on improving the workplace
  • Conferences for business people, MBA and theology students, who are interested in reflecting upon the development of quality management in daily business activities
  • Small groups of business leaders, called “Forum”, that meet monthly at a hotel in downtown Montreal for discussion and reflection.

Conferences offered by Dr. J.-Robert Ouimet (cv pdf) consist of:

  • A presentation of his management model, called Our Project, and /or a personal testimony of his work
  • A discussion period on the impact of spirituality in the workplace
  • Time for individual prayer or silent meditation (participation is optional)

Visits to the food processing plants (Cordon Bleu and Tomasso), located in the Montreal area, are of primary interest and allow business leaders and university researchers to learn more about what employees experience in the organization.

Visitors are able to discover the benefits of Our Project by being onsite, experiencing the ambiance that permeates the workplace, meeting the management team and discussing their approach.

University-level management programs — and the MBA students, in particular — offer an ideal place to address these themes. Here, students conceive their roles as future managers. They consider the values upon which they will build their lives and careers, as well as the goals they will pursue. They learn about a company’s raison d’être, its role in society and in a local economy.

This unique and enlightening management model has interested professors from major universities (in the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia). They have used Our Project as a case study in their teaching and in their discussions with management students.
